Ready Mix Concrete Plant Process Flow
Writer:Admin Time:26/06/04The core advantages of industrialized ready mix concrete production lie in standardization, automation, and traceability, distinguishing it from the extensive operations of traditional on-site mixing. A standardized and streamlined ready mix concrete plant process is crucial for controlling concrete strength, slump, and homogeneity, and is also the core foundation for commercial concrete companies to maintain stable production capacity and reduce losses. Based on Haomei Machinery's years of experience in developing complete sets of equipment and implementing projects, we believe that high-quality ready mix concrete production is not simply about material mixing, but about precise metering, closed-loop conveying, uniform mixing, and standardized finishing throughout the entire process. Refined control at every stage is essential to avoid common quality defects.

The complete ready mix concrete plant process can be divided into six core stages: raw material storage, automatic batching, closed-loop conveying, forced mixing, finished product discharge, and cleaning and recycling. The entire process relies on a closed-loop automated control system.
Firstly, in the raw material storage stage, raw materials such as sand, gravel, cement, fly ash, and admixtures are stored in separate areas. Aggregates are stored in closed silos, and powder is stored in sealed cement silos, with dust removal equipment to suppress dust emissions. This step not only meets environmental protection requirements but also prevents raw materials from becoming damp, mixed, or contaminated with impurities, controlling raw material quality from the source.
Secondly, automated and precise batching is crucial, determining the accuracy of concrete mix proportions. The system presets the proportions of sand, gravel, powder, water, and admixtures based on the required concrete grade for the project. The equipment uses independent weighing systems for each component: aggregates are dynamically weighed via belt conveyors, while powder and water are weighed using high-precision electronic weighing. In our industry experience, we've found that most issues with unstable concrete strength, cracking, and slump deviation stem from measurement errors. Therefore, our equipment features a optimized measurement calibration system, enabling real-time fine-tuning and eliminating measurement deviations.
After batching, the materials enter a closed conveying system. Qualified aggregates are fed into the mixing unit via a sealed belt conveyor, while powder is conveyed in a closed system via a screw conveyor. This process eliminates external exposure, preventing dust pollution and material loss. Compared to traditional open conveying, the closed conveying structure effectively isolates external moisture and impurities, ensuring material purity and meeting the material requirements of various high-standard projects.
The core process is forced mixing, a crucial step in production. Materials are uniformly fed into JS series and SICOMA MAO series twin-shaft mixers. Through bidirectional convection forced mixing, material agglomeration is broken up, allowing sand, cement, water, and admixtures to fully blend. Unlike ordinary mixing equipment, our twin-shaft mixers employ a staggered mixing structure, eliminating dead zones and achieving uniform mixing within a fixed time, ensuring consistent homogeneity in each batch of concrete and adapting to standardized mass production of ready mix concrete.
After mixing meets standards, the finished concrete is unloaded into a concrete mixer truck and transported to the construction site. After production, the equipment automatically enters a cleaning and recycling process, thoroughly cleaning residual materials from the main unit and conveying pipelines. Wastewater and waste residue are centrally recycled, achieving green and low-consumption production.
The industry has evolved beyond the era of "experience-based mixing" in ready mix concrete production. Standardized, automated, and refined processes are the core of quality control. Haomei concrete batching plant equipment optimizes and upgrades the entire process, leveraging its advantages of precise metering, uniform mixing, and low consumption and environmental friendliness to help companies achieve stable, efficient, and standardized large-scale production of ready mix concrete.
